[ Rain is perhaps not the ideal weather to pick to train in- fact that he'd lost a bit of fondness towards it in his last few months back home notwithstanding. Hard to get really good footing, poorer visibility, not to mention cold and wet.
Chouji is aware of these things, but he'll be stepping outside anyway- because he couldn't go out in the stormy weather yesterday, you lose your edge without practice (it's fully possible he's been deliberately slacking off since they got back from fighting the Third Party, really), and...well, the village is where the good food is for the moment. He's never been all that complicated in his motivations.
It is possible one could catch sight of him while he does said training in one of those convenient and somewhat cliche forest clearings, maybe even by the river off to the side of CH 1. I say this is possible since Akimichi-style ninjitsu typically involves...growing to about twenty-five feet tall (don't worry, those spikes over the trees aren't some kind of swarming airsharks, it's just a dude's hair) or just expanding individual limbs and punching things until they break (going for large rocks and cleared areas of ground as opposed to trees).
You see, as he is a man of simple motivations, so is he also a ninja whose fighting style was just never stealthy. That's the power of canon.
If one catches him after all that actually doing what he's supposed to do, chances are they're catching him on the way to get lunch over at 7th Heaven, inhaling said lunch, or on the way back home from it.
...or I guess upon getting home, because people do live in the building and all, psh. ((tags may come slowly, sorry guys.)) ]

I gotta invest in more giant-Chouji icons.
... oh hey, Shino. He'll cut back on the giant-ness in juuuuust a minute. Haven't done this since the draft, so it helps to remember exactly what he has to work with while he's in the big invisible bubble. :|a ]
Oh you got plenty!
Don't worry Chouji. Shino's patient. As in SUPER PATIENT. He'll stay here like a patient guy and wait for you to finish. He isn't here for any particular reason really. Just kinda bored.]

She does see him training, but opts not to really bother him; instead, she waits until he's done and headed for lunch.
Guess who's falling in step beside him as he leaves that forest clearing?]

And then smiling, as he is wont to do. ]
Good afternoon, Temari-san.

Just some training. Nothing too special. [ Ah, but that he misses not worrying about property damage in the process. >: ] I didn't want to spend another day stuck inside, you know?

It's interesting, to say the least. So, you have a Naruto nearby, just chilling out and watching. Don't mind him.]

This particular part of the day holds a considerable lack of human boulders mowing down anything in their path, and more practice with individual limbs. Which is all just fancy-talk for "this conveniently located boulder is going down." ]

That shit hurts, man.]

It won't take too long to handle this thing, at least, even if there's a pretty solid base now pushed down into the mud forever. The fist, it is returning to normal now. ]

No, this one will be yanking on your arm as you're about to go into the Seventh Heaven. In the direction back towards the street, that is.]

Coming along dutifully. Maybe this can be like an exercise in self-control yeahrightwhatever :|a; he'll just hope it's nothing bad serious while he waits for the story to go with this. ]

Apologies, Katara, for in all his advanced ground-shaking ninja skills and actually putting full concentration into this, he...didn't hear you down there. >_> wtg?
BUT NOT TO WORRY. He'll be bamfing down to the usual human size in a little less than a minute- Luceti bears certain limits on that method (like they have something against giant rampaging ninjas, the bastards). ]
