[ Rain is perhaps not the ideal weather to pick to train in- fact that he'd lost a bit of fondness towards it in his last few months back home notwithstanding. Hard to get really good footing, poorer visibility, not to mention cold and wet.

Chouji is aware of these things, but he'll be stepping outside anyway- because he couldn't go out in the stormy weather yesterday, you lose your edge without practice (it's fully possible he's been deliberately slacking off since they got back from fighting the Third Party, really), and...well, the village is where the good food is for the moment. He's never been all that complicated in his motivations.

It is possible one could catch sight of him while he does said training in one of those convenient and somewhat cliche forest clearings, maybe even by the river off to the side of CH 1. I say this is possible since Akimichi-style ninjitsu typically involves...growing to about twenty-five feet tall (don't worry, those spikes over the trees aren't some kind of swarming airsharks, it's just a dude's hair) or just expanding individual limbs and punching things until they break (going for large rocks and cleared areas of ground as opposed to trees).

You see, as he is a man of simple motivations, so is he also a ninja whose fighting style was just never stealthy. That's the power of canon.

If one catches him after all that actually doing what he's supposed to do, chances are they're catching him on the way to get lunch over at 7th Heaven, inhaling said lunch, or on the way back home from it.

...or I guess upon getting home, because people do live in the building and all, psh. ((tags may come slowly, sorry guys.)) ]

[Since Chouji becoming a freaking GIANT is hard to miss, you might have a Shino somewhere near by watching your said training dude. His abilities obviously comes as no shock to him. They didn't talk too much back home, but he's generally aware of the other Konoha 11's abilities. Well... Sasuke is a little more complicated, since he hasn't even been in the VILLAGE, but yeah.]

I gotta invest in more giant-Chouji icons.

But once he actually catches wind of Chouji's training, Naruto's going to put his own on hold to watch him from a safe distance. He definitely knows how Chouji fights, but he's never really been around to see him do training exercises or anything.

[ As far as he's concerned, fellow ninja aren't anything to make a big deal of. Especially when they're keeping a safe distance- not that there's all that much he's willing to risk with a giant wolf goddess around to make a chewtoy out of people who mess up the trees.

This particular part of the day holds a considerable lack of human boulders mowing down anything in their path, and more practice with individual limbs. Which is all just fancy-talk for "this conveniently located boulder is going down." ]

[Having dropped his sandwich in a puddle (and maybe more than just that given his pants are soggy on the knees and his sleeves are wet), Sokka was forced to make do with lunch in Seventh Heaven. Which was just as well, seeing as how he hates eating in the smithy and eating in the rain is kind of lame. Since he's not really paying much attention to anything other than his soggy pants, he abruptly bumps into Chouji on his way in.]
